Frequently asked
What areas do you serve for wedding flowers?
We serve the entire North Carolina High Country, including Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, West Jefferson, Jefferson, Valle Crucis, Beech Mountain, Todd, and the surrounding Watauga, Ashe, and Avery County communities.
Do you travel for destination weddings outside the High Country?
Yes. While the Blue Ridge mountains are our home, we travel for the right celebration. We have designed florals as far as the McAlister-Leftwich House near Greensboro. Reach out with your location and we will let you know.
Where are you based?
Golden Thistle Design is based in Boone, NC and serves the greater High Country region. We are a service-area studio, so we come to your venue.
How far in advance should I book?
Peak fall and summer dates in the High Country book up early, often a year or more out. We recommend inquiring as soon as you have a date and venue so we can reserve your day.
